Unidas Seremos is a multicultural organization comprised of women from various backgrounds. Our commitment to diversity within our organization sets us apart from other groups. Unidas Seremos is a great way to meet ladies with common interests, to make new friends and experience personal growth through cultural awareness and appreciation. We are committed to promoting diversity through cultural awareness, academic excellence and community service.
Through the bonds of SISTERHOOD, all women regardless of race, creed, color or sexual orientation come together to celebrate their differences and commonalities.
SISTERHOOD supports the success of Black women at the University of Washington by providing a sense of community, encouraging respect, and fostering leadership. Through workshops, meetings and community projects, Black women on college campuses are empowered and equipped to realize their full potential, and to make a meaningful impact in their local and global community.
SISTERHOOD is reinforced through four core principles: Cultural Awareness, Community Outreach, Education and Professional/Personal Development.
3WF – Third Wave Feminists
We promote awareness, feminist values, and participation in the third wave feminist movement. This movement is inclusive to people of all races, genders, classes, abilities, and sexual orientations. We recognize the importance of understanding and addressing the intersections of multiple identities and forms of oppression. We are based at the University of Washington, although you don’t have to be a UW student to participate or come to our events.
Planned Parenthood Votes NW
For more than 90 years, Planned Parenthood has promoted a commonsense approach to women’s health and well-being, based on respect for each individual’s right to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning. PP Votes NW’s goal is to advocate for and spread information about Planned Parenthood’s goals and resources on campus at UW. Our goal is to ensure that every individual has the information, services, and freedom to make healthy, responsible decisions about sex, sexuality, and parenthood.
